Fees & Earnings

Last updated: September 5, 2026

1. Overview

Creators set their own service prices. CreativeWork adds an 8% service fee to the creator’s price. The client sees the full total before completing the booking request. Payments are processed through Stripe.

2. Creator Pricing

Creators are responsible for setting the price of their services. CreativeWork does not determine creator pricing.

The listed creator price should represent the amount charged for the creative service itself before CreativeWork’s service fee is added. Optional add-ons may be offered in addition to the base service price.

Creators should keep pricing accurate and up to date.

3. CreativeWork Service Fee

CreativeWork adds an 8% service fee on top of the creator’s price. The client pays this fee as part of the total booking price.

The 8% service fee supports the platform and payment-processing costs. CreativeWork does not publish a separate Stripe processing percentage as an extra client charge.

ItemAmount
Creator priceNOK 5,000
CreativeWork service fee (8%)NOK 400
Client totalNOK 5,400

4. What the Client Pays

The client pays the creator price plus the CreativeWork service fee. The total is shown before payment authorization.

Optional add-ons are included in the total when selected. VAT or other taxes may also be shown where applicable. CreativeWork does not always add VAT to a booking.

5. Payment Schedules

The payment schedule depends on when the creator accepts and whether the booking is Drop-in.

  • Accepted 30 or more days before the event: Initial payment of 10%, then Remaining payment of 90% normally scheduled approximately 25 days before the event.
  • Accepted less than 30 days before the event: Full payment after creator acceptance.
  • Drop-in: Full payment if the creator accepts.

Detailed payment, cancellation, and refund rules are in Payments & Disputes.

6. Creator Earnings

Creator earnings are based on the creator’s service price and applicable booked add-ons. Under the current pricing model, CreativeWork does not reduce the entered creator price by the 8% service fee.

The creator price is the amount the creator is intended to receive for the service, subject to refunds, disputes, taxes, chargebacks, or other applicable adjustments.

Earnings may be affected by approved refunds, cancellations, disputes, chargebacks, tax or VAT obligations, and other payment adjustments required by applicable rules or law.

7. Payouts

Once a booking becomes Completed, eligible creator earnings become payout-eligible under CreativeWork rules. CreativeWork does not add another discretionary waiting period after completion.

Actual payout timing can still depend on Stripe settlement and funds availability, bank processing, an active card or bank dispute, a payout failure, or other payment-provider restrictions. CreativeWork does not guarantee a specific number of days for a bank payout and does not promise instant bank payment.

Payout may be delayed while delivery, dispute, or payment issues remain unresolved.

8. Refunds, Cancellations and Adjustments

Refunds may reduce the amount ultimately retained by the creator and/or CreativeWork according to the applicable cancellation and refund rules. Those rules are set out in Payments & Disputes.

9. Disputes and Payment Holds

CreativeWork may delay payout eligibility or payment release while a booking, delivery, fraud, or payment dispute is being reviewed.

10. Taxes and VAT

Creators are responsible for understanding and meeting their own tax and VAT obligations for the services they provide, subject to applicable law.

An organisation number is optional. Where a Norwegian organisation number is provided, verified Brønnøysundregistrene data may inform or limit VAT declaration on the platform. CreativeWork does not guarantee provider tax compliance.

CreativeWork is responsible for its own service-fee accounting and tax obligations.

CreativeWork does not calculate or remit creator VAT.

11. Currency

CreativeWork is launching in Norway first. Creator setup is Norway-based, and NOK is the working currency for that Norway setup. Clients may see converted display prices in other currencies, but the booking is recorded in the booking currency.

12. Payment Processing

Payments are processed through Stripe. CreativeWork does not store full payment-card details.

Stripe processing is not shown as an extra fee line charged separately to the client on top of the 8% CreativeWork service fee.

13. Receipts and Payment Records

CreativeWork provides booking payment receipts and wallet or transaction records for payments processed through the platform.

These records are not VAT invoices.

14. Changes to Fees

CreativeWork may change service fees for future bookings.

Fee changes do not retroactively change already accepted bookings unless required by law or explicitly agreed.
